A long, horizontal rectangle of beige bobbin lace on a black background. The top edge is scalloped and roughly finished. The bottom edge is also scalloped but more intricate, with a band of oval shapes separated by double scalloped lines. The design in the middle section consists of symmetrically arranged floral motifs in a grid-like pattern with open areas in between, arranged in columns. The floral motifs are created by a lattice of interwoven threads with a net-like texture, open in a grid pattern with rounded shapes within.
