Bobbin Lace (Needlepoint Design) Edging of Round Points

Cleveland Museum of Art

White lace trim with a repeating pattern of floral motifs and geometric shapes. The trim is composed of two identical sections that are mirror images of each other, positioned side by side. The lace features intricate circular designs with a central floral pattern, surrounded by concentric circles and teardrop shapes. The edges of the lace are scalloped and feature additional floral motifs. The background of the image is solid black. The trim appears to be made of a thin, delicate material, possibly thread or yarn. It is rectangular in shape, with a straight top edge and wavy bottom edge. The overall design is symmetrical, with identical patterns on either side. The lace is titled "Bobbin Lace (Needlepoint Design) Edging of Round Points".
