A man dressed in traditional Japanese clothing stands in front of a clump of irises. He wears a headband and a long robe with wide sleeves and vertical stripes. A sash around the waist holds a sword on the right side and a hanging pouch on the left. His right hand touches his head. He wears zōri sandals. The background includes a beige color with darker shading at the bottom, and there are several iris flowers and foliage behind him to both sides. Japanese characters are on the right edge.
