Embroidered Fragment by Unknown Artist. The image shows an off-white fabric with a blue embroidered design. The fabric is roughly shaped like a rounded rectangle with a scalloped top edge and straight bottom edge. The fabric appears worn, with small tears and discoloration. The embroidered design features a symmetrical floral pattern with two creatures facing outwards on either side. The creatures have heart-shaped bodies, long tails, and short legs. They appear to be emerging from a floral arrangement. The design also features stylized flowers, leaves, and stems. At the bottom of the design is a large, stylized letter "D". The entire design is rendered in blue thread. The fabric is mounted on a light-colored background, possibly another piece of fabric.
