The image shows a hairpin titled "Hairpin" by an unknown artist. The hairpin is made of a light-colored material, possibly ivory or bone. It has a long, thin, tapered shaft with a small, decorative top. The top of the hairpin is shaped like a vase or urn with a wide mouth and a narrow body. Two small, curled protrusions on either side of the top resemble scrollwork or handles. A small, rounded section separates the top from the shaft. The background of the image is a solid gray color.
