The So-called Horn of Saint Blaise by Artist Unknown. An animal horn, likely from a large mammal such as a bovid or a rhinoceros, is shown; it is light beige with darker areas near the tip and toward the flared end; the horn's wide end is flared; the horn's surface bears patterned designs; on the flared end are several bands of patterning on a light background; the bands are made up of lines and curving filigree; on the lower part of the flared end is an image of two figures with a tree; curving filigree and other patterns cover the rest of the horn's flared end; approximately midway along the horn's length are two more bands of curving filigree; toward the tip are two more thin bands of filigree. The background is shaded from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
