Textile fragment depicting the Annunciation by an unknown artist. The fragment shows a faded light green background with gold-colored designs. It features two main figures: a woman, the Virgin Mary, on the right side, and an angel on the left. The angel stands with one hand raised in a gesture of greeting and the other holding a staff. The Virgin Mary is depicted with her hands clasped in prayer. Both figures are under archways. The fragment also includes decorative elements: - A row of flowers along the bottom edge - Palm trees or similar plants behind the figures - Two birds or angels with outstretched wings at the top The fabric appears worn, with frayed edges.
