Altarpiece with Buddha Enthroned
Green sculpture on a black base. The sculpture depicts a seated Buddha figure with hands clasped in the lap, sitting cross-legged. The figure has a necklace around the neck and a crown-like object on the head. The sculpture's surface features intricate carvings throughout including on columns on either side of the figure and on the triangular top. The triangular top narrows to a point and ends in a flame-like design with a rounded protrusion on either side. The triangular top has a rounded, eye-like design on either side, with additional decorations on top. The triangular carved section extends down on sides of the image to the figure's shoulders. The background of the image shows a plain smooth gradient from light gray at the bottom to dark gray at the top.
