Two gold-colored firedogs, titled "Pair of Firedogs" by Jacques Caffieri. The firedogs have a boar's head on one end and a lion's head on the other end. The boar's head on the right faces left with an open mouth. The lion's head on the left faces right with an open mouth. The heads are made of gold-colored metal and have detailed textures. Ornate curved designs extend from the heads. The base of each firedog is short and ornamental. Two short, ornamental pieces are in the middle. The background is gray and dark at the top and lighter at the bottom. The firedogs cast shadows on the surface they are placed on.
