Pair of Candleholders

Cleveland Museum of Art

Pair of candleholders by artist. Two ornate, gold-colored metal candlesticks with intricate designs. Each has a flat, round top with a small spike in the center. The body of each candlestick features a series of stacked, ornamental sections, including a fluted section, a vase-like section with a leafy design, and a base with a decorative, curved shape. The bases have four small feet and a decorative, curved design. The candlesticks are made of a shiny, gold-colored metal, possibly bronze or brass. The background is a plain gray color.
