Two pages from an illuminated manuscript. Top page has text on left and image on right. Image depicts a man and woman with blue and red clothes standing on either side of a gold object. Woman wears blue dress and blue head covering; the man wears a red cloak over a blue tunic and a gold crown on head. They are under a blue sky with a yellow sun and red and blue rays. The man touches the woman's shoulder with right hand; she holds gold object in both hands. Border around image is blue with red, white, blue and gold decorations. Text on pages is black calligraphy, with some red text; calligraphy is lined; some text is in red and blue ink. Pages have floral designs on parchment; designs include flowers, leaves and brown butterflies; parchment is stained and worn. The bottom page has text on both sides. The image on top page is titled "Coronation of the Virgin".
