The Ewer: Cizhou ware features a ceramic vessel with a rounded body. The vessel has a wide mouth and a short neck that flares out into a wide rim. A handle is attached to one side, and a spout protrudes from the opposite side. The body is primarily white with brown discoloration. The base is circular and flat. The background is dark gray to black, transitioning from light to dark.
