Cleveland Museum of Art

The object is a ceramic vase with a green glaze. The vase is shaped like a cong. It has a rectangular body with a flat top and bottom. The body is divided into three sections: a small top section, a long middle section, and a wider bottom section. The top section has a series of horizontal ridges on its sides. The middle section has a smooth front and a vertical channel down its center. The bottom section also features raised line carvings. The vase stands on four small feet, with orange clay visible at the base of each foot. The background is black at the top, fading to gray at the bottom. A shadow is cast to the right of the vase.
