The sculpture depicts a dog and a rabbit on a base. The dog, a spaniel, is positioned on the left, pointing at a rabbit on the right. The dog faces right; it has a long, curved tail and floppy ears; its front right paw is lifted. The rabbit faces left; its ears are back; it appears to be crouched down. The dog and rabbit are both bronze. The base has two levels: a lower, rounded wooden level and an upper, rounded metal level. The wooden base is dark brown with two light-brown stripes. The background is dark gray.
