Plaque Fragment of Horses and Chariot

Cleveland Museum of Art

Brown stone fragment with a relief carving of horses pulling a chariot. The fragment is roughly triangular. The horses are on the left; one fully visible and the other partially visible behind it. The chariot on the right has a single visible wheel with eight spokes. The chariot body is decorated with vertical lines and appears to have been broken off. The background of the image is black at the top, transitioning to gray toward the bottom. The stone sits on a gray surface.
