Figurine

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Figurine by unknown artist depicts a tan-colored clay or stone object with a pointed top and a bulbous base. The object has a small, indistinct facial feature where the nose would be and two protrusions on either side of the face that could be interpreted as cheeks or shoulders. The body is divided into two cylindrical legs that are separated by a gap. The surface appears weathered and worn, with darker patches on the lower parts of the legs. The background transitions from black at the top to gray at the bottom.
