Master of the Brussels Initials and Associates

The image features an open book with yellowed pages. The right page is shown, with a colorful border on both sides, consisting of a central stem with branches of ivy adorned with flowers, leaves, and fruits on the right; on the left there are similar ivy branches. The border on the right has a sunburst at the top and a bird perched on a branch at the top right; a fish is drawn below; on the left, there are similar branches with a bird at bottom. The right page displays a calendar for February with red and blue calligraphy; most lines are written in blue calligraphy except for the first. The top features a decorative initial "F" in red, blue, and orange; below on the right is a smaller orange inscription. The bottom quarter of the right page features an illustration of a man wearing a red hat sitting and fishing from a bank with a basket next to him.
