Master of the Brussels Initials and Associates

Cleveland Museum of Art

Yellowed, aged book page with visible signs of wear and tear. The left and top edges are frayed. The page displays a central red-lined rectangular section containing lines of gray text, likely written in Latin. A decorative blue and red design borders the left and top sides of the rectangle, extending beyond it. The design features blue vines with red and blue leaves and flowers. The surrounding page area exhibits scattered blue, red, and green spots, with a darker stain along the left edge. A faint blue design element is present on the left. The right page edge shows colorful illustrations. The background is black.
