Open book with yellowed pages. Right page has a large decorative initial P. The letter extends from the top to near the bottom of the page in blue with gold decoration. The initial fills the top with an illustration. In the illustration, a man sits on a throne wearing blue and brown. He holds a white beard of a man standing to his right. The man on the right wears white and brown. He has his right hand on the king's right shoulder. The decorative initial on the left side of the page is much smaller and extends from top to middle of page. The initial is gold. A large body of black text is on both pages. Red lettering is used for some of the text. The top of the right page has text in red and blue. A darker gray background is behind the book. The right page number 238.
