To the right, there are three people sitting, with one wearing a hat and leaning on a cane. A fourth person crouches on the right. The bottom strip contains more sketches. On the left, two people are sitting; one rests their head on their hand. A woman stands in front of a lectern or podium. Two heads are sketched on the right; one looks upwards. The sketches are done in pencil and some have color. The style of the sketches suggests they are studies for a larger work.
