The Imperial Barometer by Johan Viktor Aarne is a wooden barometer with a cylindrical body. The body of the barometer is made of dark wood with vertical grooves and sits on a round wooden base. A brass band encircles the base and another one encircles the top. The top has a white face with black writing and numbers. Two brass handles, decorated with floral patterns, are on either side. A decorative brass chain connects the handles, hanging down in the middle. The background is dark gray to black, with the object sitting on a lighter gray surface.
