Seated Buddha by an unknown artist. The statue depicts a figure with a head that is smooth and rectangular with small, rounded ears on either side; the facial features are completely missing. The figure sits cross-legged on a flat base with a rope-like design around the edge; the base is oval-shaped. The figure wears a simple robe that covers both shoulders, with folds carved to appear pleated. The figure's hands are positioned in the lap, with the right hand on top of the left. The figure sits on a triangular-shaped object with ornate carvings, which may be interpreted as a throne or decorative element. The entire statue appears to be made of stone; the background transitions from dark gray to light gray to white.
