The vase is a black-figure hydria with a wide mouth and narrow neck. The body of the vase is orange with black figures and designs. There are two handles on either side of the vase. The main scene on the body shows a frontal quadriga, a chariot pulled by four horses, with three men standing beside the horses. The man in the chariot and the two men on either side are wearing helmets and holding spears. There are also several small animals at the bottom of the scene. The shoulder of the vase depicts Theseus and the Minotaur. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray to light gray.
