He appears to be standing over another man wearing a brown kimono with a white headband, who is on one knee with a sword in his right hand. The man on the ground has bare feet. The background of the print fades from black at the top to light brown at the bottom. There are several Japanese characters written vertically on the right side and in two small rectangles on the left side.
