Vase

Sèvres Porcelain Factory

Cleveland Museum of Art

The vase is bulbous with a short neck and a rounded opening at the top. The body of the vase resembles the exterior of a gourd with ribbed panels that are irregularly shaped. The vase has a predominantly white base color with dark gray streaks running vertically down its body. There are three small circular indentations on either side of the vase's body. The largest indentation on the front of the vase contains a blue and white figure of a nude woman. The background of the image is a gradient gray color.
