The sculpture depicts a large tortoise climbing up a tree stump, with one front leg and one back leg on the stump, the foreleg on the left raised. The tortoise's head is raised and pointed to the left, and it has a blue tail. A smaller tortoise is on the left at the base of the stump. The base is irregularly shaped and has a glossy finish. The background is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
