Female Figurine

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Female Figurine by the artist depicts a full-body, stone or clay sculpture of a woman. The figurine has long hair parted down the middle and pulled back. The woman's facial features include large earrings, a nose, and a mouth. Her body is bare except for a belt around her waist with four objects hanging down and bracelets or cuffs on her upper arms are not present but shoulder pads or cuffs are; her thighs, just above the knees; and her lower legs. The object around her waist appears to have four cylindrical protrusions. The figurine's skin is primarily a light brown color with some red accents on the upper chest, stomach, thighs, and lower legs. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
