Mirror with Four Nipples, Quasi-Dragons, and Birds

Cleveland Museum of Art

The object appears to be a circular bronze mirror. The mirror has a bronze-colored metal body with a darker patina on the outer edge. The center is decorated with a spiral design consisting of raised lines and four nipple-like protrusions. A raised circle with another nipple protrusion sits in the center. The mirror appears to be quite old. A thick line wraps around in a spiral. Alongside the spiral are some small balls and what appears to be a bird-like figure, along with quasi-dragon-like figures on the mirror.
