

Parade Halberd (from the bodyguard of Ludwig Rudolf, Duke of Brunswick- Wolfenbüttel [1671-1735])
The halberd has a long, thin wooden pole. A metal piece at the top of the pole has a green and gold colored tassel. The head of the halberd is gold-colored with etchings. A long spike extends upward from the center of the head. The head of the halberd is shaped like an axe with a curved blade on one side and a slightly concave blade on the other. There are etchings on both sides of the head. A monogram is on one side. The background is gray.
