The Horseman's Ax of Cardinal Ippolito de' Medici has a long, straight wooden handle with a metal head. The metal head has a long pointed spike extending upwards. A curved single-edged axe blade is on the right side. A shorter spike extends to the left. The metal head has an etched design on it. There is a hole in the center where the metal head meets the handle. The background is gray.
