The Bread Plate by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin features a round plate with a blue outer rim and a brown center. The blue rim has gold lettering and designs and reads "IHS" on the top portion with the remainder of the letters continuing around the rim. The brown center contains a gold design with eight wheat stalks extending from a central circular floral design in blue. A gold border separates the blue rim from the brown center. The background is dark gray and fades to light gray at the bottom.
