The Folies-Bergère by Jean Louis Forain: A black and white sketch on beige paper depicting a group of people in a crowded scene. The right side has more lightly drawn figures including one woman wearing a very large hat. The left side has more heavily shaded figures with greater detail including a man with a top hat and a woman holding her hand up to her face. The drawing style uses a range of lines from thin to very thick and varying in direction. The artist's signature appears in the bottom right corner.
