Twelve rectangular panels arranged in two rows of six. The top row depicts the following figures from left to right: - A man with a long white beard sitting on a chair, holding a sword. - A muscular man with a lion skin on his head and a sword. - A man with a long white beard wearing a hat with a star on it and holding a staff. - A man sitting at a table wearing a hat and holding a jar. - A man leaning on an ox. - A man sitting on a lion. The bottom row depicts the following figures from left to right: - A man sitting on the ground holding a spear and shield. - A man crouching down holding a basket of fruit. - A man holding a deer by its antlers. - A man sitting on a chair with his index finger extended to his mouth. - A man sitting on a bull. Each panel contains illegible writing at the bottom. The work is by Jacob de Gheyn II and is titled "The Twelve Sons of Jacob".
