The Seven Archangels (recto); Studies of an Archangel and a Wind God (verso)
The drawing depicts two sections. The top section shows a group of seven figures with wings, standing on clouds. One figure in the center holds a round shield and a spear; some figures to his left hold a bow and arrows. Figures to the right hold a staff. The bottom section contains two sketches: one of a winged figure with a spear and one of a figure with long hair. The drawings are in a monochromatic brown color on beige paper. A thin black and gold border surrounds the bottom drawing.
