The candlestick by William Thomson is silver with a square base that has a decorative edge. The base leads to a thin stem with three ornate sections. The top section of the stem is smooth and cylindrical leading to a short plate that the candle sits on. The plate is circular and has a decorative edge. The background is gray and fades to a darker gray at the top.
