Candlestick
The image shows a black and white photograph of a candlestick. The candlestick is made of metal and has a wide, flat base with a short stem and a large circular platform in the middle. Above the platform is a narrow stem that supports a candle holder with a wide mouth. The candle holder is shaped like an urn with a narrow neck and a flared top. There are two thin rings around the middle of the candle holder and one near the top. The base and platform have a decorative edge with a series of concentric circles. A small ruler or measuring device is placed in front of the candlestick on the left side. On the right side is a small metal plaque that reads "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART 1935". The background of the image is a plain gray wall. The artist of the candlestick is unknown. The title of the candlestick is "Candlestick".
