Candlestick

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Silver candlestick with a wide, flared base that tapers into a series of stacked, rounded sections. A large, flat dish-like section sits atop the base. A smaller, narrower, vase-shaped section rises from the dish, supporting a smaller, flat dish-like section at the top. A short, thin spike protrudes from the center of the top dish. The candlestick appears to be made of metal, possibly silver, and has a reflective surface. The artist is unknown but titled "Candlestick".
