Creamer

Joseph Moulton

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The creamer by Joseph Moulton is a silver-colored pitcher. The body of the pitcher is approximately cylindrical with a slight narrowing at the top, with faceted sides. A lip curves down to form the spout on one side. A thin wire handle curves up from the body on the opposite side. The pitcher appears to have a reflective surface and small darker areas indicate tarnish. The background fades to gray behind the pitcher.
