The Epergne by Schofield depicts a large, ornate piece with a wide, shallow bowl-like top with a decorative rim, featuring a pattern of curved shapes resembling leaves or flowers. Three statues of women stand on a short pedestal supporting the bowl, each holding it up with both hands. The pedestal is cylindrical with a flat top and bottom; the top features a design of lions or other animals on either side of a shield. The base of the pedestal is wider than the top and features a decorative edge. The entire piece appears to be made of metal, likely silver. The ornate base has three small feet.
