The Baptismal Bowl by Oliver Trask is a metal bowl with a wide lip that extends outward from the top. The bowl has a short, wide base with a decorative molding around the bottom. The body of the bowl is rounded and slopes inward from the lip to a narrower middle section, then flares outward slightly to the base. The bowl appears to be made of a silver or pewter-colored metal. The bowl is photographed in black and white from a front and slightly elevated angle so that the interior of the bowl is visible. The background of the image is a plain gray color. A shadow is cast to the right of the bowl. The image has a thin black border around the edge.
