The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Barrel by artist. Large ceramic barrel with rounded body, slightly narrower at top and bottom. The barrel is predominantly dark blue with white and light yellow decorations. Three horizontal bands encircle the barrel, dividing it into sections. Each section features intricate white and light yellow designs on a dark blue background. The top and bottom edges of the barrel are light yellow with signs of wear and chipping. The background of the image is a gradient from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The barrel casts a shadow to the right.
