Vase

Hobbs, Brockunier and Company

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The vase by Hobbs, Brockunier and Company is a glass vase with a narrow mouth and short neck that flares out slightly. The body consists of two bulbs, one rounded and smaller on top and one much larger on the bottom. The coloration fades from dark red at the top to yellow at the bottom in a gradient. The background is gray, with a shadow beneath and slightly to the right of the vase.
