Black and white sketch on paper with a grid pattern. Four figures drawn in pencil, overlapping each other, with one in background standing and three in foreground appearing to move down a slope. Figures wear 18th-century clothing. Top figure wears long jacket or coat with wide lapels. Two figures to right wear loose-fitting shirts with billowy sleeves. Figure in background faces left; other three face right. Top figure holds right arm raised. Bottom two figures on right lean forward, one with right arm extended. Paper edges are rough and uneven, with small white piece of tape in top-left corner. Background around paper is black.
