A long rectangular section with stripes and patterns is below the middle section. The bottom section features a square with a floral design, cursive letters "L J P", and a patchwork design. The fabric has a decorative edge with a scalloped pattern. The overall design is a sampler created by Lucy Jane Phelps Atwater.
