Embroidered Sampler

Light blue-gray fabric with white embroidery and white fringe on all sides. The fabric is rectangular. Top section features a zig-zag pattern with triangular shapes and small leaf-like designs. Below the zig-zag pattern are horizontal lines. Three rectangular shapes with various white patterns and stitches are present in the middle section. A long rectangular section with stripes and patterns is below the middle section. The bottom section features a square with a floral design, cursive letters "L J P", and a patchwork design. The fabric has a decorative edge with a scalloped pattern. The overall design is a sampler created by Lucy Jane Phelps Atwater.
