Tankard by Thomas Byles. The object is a metal mug with a handle and lid. The mug is made of silver-colored metal, possibly pewter or tin. It has a cylindrical body with a rounded base and a slightly flared lip. There are two horizontal lines around the body, one near the top and one near the bottom. The handle is curved and attached to the side of the mug with a small decorative piece. The lid is domed and attached to the top of the mug with a small finial. The background is a plain gray color. The mug casts a shadow on the surface below it.
