Pitcher

Tiffany & Co.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Silver pitcher with a hammered texture resembling a honeycomb pattern. The pitcher has a bulbous base and a narrow neck. There are two raised crustaceans on the body of the pitcher: one appears to be a crab on the lower left side; the other appears to be a lobster on the lower right side. Above the crustaceans are three raised spiral motifs. The pitcher has a handle on the right side. The top rim of the pitcher is wavy. The background is grey with a vignette effect.
