Close Helmet of Claude Gouffier (1501–1570) by artist not specified. Silver-colored metal helmet with etched designs. The helmet has a rounded top that slopes downward toward the back. A T-shaped opening for the face with a horizontal slit for vision. The neck guard is flared outwards and has small gold rivets around the edge. An orange and black chin strap is attached on either side of the helmet. The entire surface is decorated with intricate etchings and gold accents. The background is gray.
