The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Rapier has a long silver blade with an etched inscription. The hilt is made of intricately engraved metal. A spherical pommel crowns the hilt. A brown cord wraps around the grip. The crossguard curves outward on both sides, featuring a decorative spherical end on the right.
