The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows a round, dark brown or black metal object with a raised edge. The object has a design cut out of its center, consisting of a long, thin oval shape oriented vertically, flanked by curved shapes resembling leaves. The leaves are arranged symmetrically around the central oval shape, with two heart-shaped cutouts positioned near the top. There are two larger teardrop-shaped cutouts on either side, with the pointed end facing inward, and two smaller teardrop-shaped cutouts on the bottom with the pointed end facing outward. Two small heart-shaped cutouts are positioned on the left and right sides. The object appears to be made of metal and has a weathered appearance.
