Halberd

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The "Halberd" by an unknown artist features a long, thin, pointed metal spear with a sharp tip extending straight up. Attached to the bottom of the spear is a wide, jagged metal piece resembling a star with uneven points; it has two long points on the left and right sides and one shorter point on the bottom. The star-shaped piece has a central shaft with two small round circles stacked vertically on the left side. A short decorative metal piece is positioned below the circles. The background is a plain light gray color.
